Victor Rocha
Victor M. Rocha is a fourth-year Film, Television, and Digital Media major with a concentration in Narrative Directing. As a Mexican-American gay man from the San Joaquin Valley of California, Victor hopes to bring accurate representation and overall awareness to issues of race, gender, and sexuality through his work. His senior thesis is a 12-minute short film that follows a diverse gay man as he navigates life as someone who is out as gay at school but not out to his parents. Through this narrative work, Victor hopes to raise questions about race, sexuality, and what it really means to be “in” or “out.”
