Shreya Dodballapur
Shreya Dodballapur is a fourth year student from Sacramento, CA studying English and History. At UCLA, she is involved in the Alumni Scholars Club, edits for the Daily Bruin and watches lots of movies. Her research project explores the intersection of race and aesthetic theory in contemporary film. Examining films through affect theory rather than representational tools, her project seeks to describe how new modes of literary criticism and analysis work to equalize racial narratives. After graduation, Shreya hopes to go to law school and examine racial politics from a legal perspective.
