Rachael Lee is a fourth-year English major and Environmental Systems & Society minor. Her academic interests include contemporary fiction, ontology, urban ecology, and American culture. Her non-academic interests are probably the same. She is currently completing her honors thesis, which investigates recent shifts in contemporary American fiction towards materializing complex global networks of ecology, digital technology, and capital. Particularly of interest is how each of the four selected texts renders unique relationships between content and form, in ways that seem to conflate art and life. Upon graduation, she plans to further explore diverse, interconnected modes of thought through the fields of outdoor and environmental education
