Melanie Tran
Melanie Tran is a fourth-year Psychology major and English minor at UCLA. She is passionate about mental health issues and is dedicated to improving the mental health of youth and young adults on campus and in the greater community. Melanie is most interested in conducting research to help improve the integration, application, and accessibility of research-based practices in real-world settings. She is currently working on her honors thesis in the UCLA Culture and Minority Mental Health Lab. Her current research explores the predictors of therapist adaptations to evidence-based interventions in Los Angeles County. Melanie’s ultimate goal is to earn a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and become a researcher in implementation and dissemination science.
