WELCOME, BRUINS!

Dear students,

The Undergraduate Research Centers (URC-HASS and URC-Sciences) are resource centers for students interested in research and creative inquiry at UCLA. We offer one-on-one advising appointments, workshops and info sessions, scholarship programs, presentation and publication opportunities, and travel grants for UCLA undergraduate students at every stage of the research and creative process, whether they are just getting started or are already involved in research or creative inquiry.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 27, to find out more about getting started with undergraduate research and creative inquiry at UCLA!

Sincerely,

The URC-HASS Team

ATTEND OUR OPEN HOUSE

We’re hosting three presentation and Q&A sessions with undergraduate researchers from 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27. All students are welcome!

  • Date: Wednesday, September 27
  • Time: 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Location: Dodd 121

During each presentation, our Graduate Research Mentors will talk about how to get started with research or creative inquiry at UCLA, including how to find opportunities and a faculty mentor, earn course credit and scholarships for doing research or creative inquiry, and our resources that will help you along the way. Then, ask our Graduate Research Mentors and current UCLA undergraduate researchers questions during the Q&A!
