Maggie Klein
Maggie Klein is a fourth-year studying Sociology and Geography/Environmental Studies. Her URSP project is her Sociology Honors Thesis, which focuses on exploring how female college students brand themselves on social media platforms such as Instagram and what implications these processes have on individual and social identity. She is interested in the intersection between gender roles and self-commodification in the digital age. Beyond research, Maggie is the Bruin Spirit Executive Director of the Student Alumni Association and is passionate about environmental justice, travel, and pop culture.
