Josephine Flores is a fourth-year from San Fernando Valley, California majoring in Psychology. Her research focuses on interethnic student coalitions at San Francisco State University and UCLA and the ways in which student coalitions’ interethnic solidarity face threats in the quality and success of their movements and initiatives. Josephine expects to graduate from the UCLA College of Letters and Sciences in 2021 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Asian American Studies. Josephine plans to pursue graduate degree(s) in Education, Ethnic Studies, or Asian American Studies after completing her undergraduate degree at UCLA. Josephine hopes to continue her work within the community after graduating through community-based research, accessible education, and advocacy.
