Evelyn Giron is an English major with a minor in Chicanx Studies at UCLA. Her project delves into the migration narratives stemming from the Guatemalan Civil War and analyzes the catalysts driving the Guatemalan diaspora. Her overarching aim is to broaden the scope through which Latinx Literature engages with Central American literature. Other fields of interest include Twentieth-Century American Literature, War and Literary Studies, and Critical Theory.
