Paula Zepeda
Paula Zepeda is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Political Science. She is the first in her family to attend a university, and has been engaged in academic research during her time at UCLA. Her Political Science departmental honors thesis is centered on analyzing how political rhetoric of legislators on immigration issues have changed over time in response to increasing polarization. She is interested in investigating how constituency characteristics, party membership, and co-ethnicity shape differences in political rhetoric on this subject. In addition to her research, Paula serves as news reporter for the Daily Bruin and tour guide for Cub Tours. After graduation, she plans to attend law school.
