Nour Rayess
Nour Rayess is a third year transfer and history major with a digital humanities minor. She received the Keck award for her project entitled “Silenced Ghosts: A Lebanese History”. Nour’s research goal is to understand and document the experiences of those who lived through the post civil war period by collecting oral history interviews and papers in conjunction with analyzing existing scholarship. This project will benefit scholars and organizations as well as help younger generations learn about their past. Nour as a Lebanese American was inspired to pursue this research to deepen her comprehension and connection to her own family's history.
