Alexa Mugol
/by amelia boehAlexa Mugol is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychobiology. She is passionate about research communication and the intersection of science and psychology. Her research interests include attitudes toward women’s health and reproductive rights and issues. For her Psychology departmental honors thesis, she is investigating the relationship between menstrual product usage and attitudes toward sexual and reproductive health. Particularly, she is interested in how menstrual cup usage may be correlated with different levels of menstrual stigma and anatomical knowledge compared to pad and tampon usage. Outside of research, Alexa is involved in Hui O ‘Imiloa, Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night, Good Clothes Good People, and Pilipinos for Community Health.
