Sereen Chern Wong

Sereen Wong is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychobiology and minoring in Biomedical Research. Under the faculty mentorship of Dr. Rujuta Wilson, her research centers around studying motor phenotypes of Autism Spectrum Disorder in infants at low and high familial risk for ASD, particularly with regard to their locomotion and object exploration patterns. She is currently using video coding in order to examine these measures, with the ultimate goal of identifying what, if any, differences exist at critical points of development. After graduation, Sereen plans to continue working in research and eventually pursue higher education in medicine.
