Desiree Rassa Eshraghi
Desiree Eshraghi is a third-year undergraduate student from the San Fernando Valley. She majors in Psychobiology and minors in Disability Studies. As an aspiring physician, Desiree culminates her passion for medicine and disability advocacy towards her URSP project. Her project investigates whether self-advocacy is limited for neurodivergent patients. In pursuing this project, she also evaluates the various advocacies possible for patients. Desiree hopes her project will become a resource for both neurodivergent patients and healthcare professionals planning to incorporate a disability perspective into their practices. After graduation, Desiree plans to become a physician that serves vulnerable communities.
