/by amelia boehAustin Nguyen is a third-year double majoring in English and psychology. His research focuses on the representational politics of queer Asian American poetry and how a focus on the aesthetic—i.e., formalism, affect theory—can reshape conceptions of queer/Asian American identity and reading models of contemporary lyric poetry (i.e., lyric theory).
