Vivica Rush
Vivica Rush is a senior at the University of California, Los Angeles where she majors in African-American Studies and Political Science, with a concentration in American Politics. As a part of her Political Science Honors Thesis Program, she currently researches the relationship between the emergence of social justice movements and the enactment of capital punishment legislation in the United States. Passionate about advocacy on and off-campus, Vivica serves on the Student Advisory Board for the UCLA Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and is an intern for the Los Angeles Department of Civil and Human Rights. After completing her undergraduate education, she intends to pursue a career in law, with a specialization in Critical Race Studies or Public Interest and Policy.
