Molly Mielke
Molly Mielke is a senior studying Film, Television, & Digital Media and completing a departmental thesis exploring the roots of human creativity through the lens of psychology, neuroscience, and human development. She is interested in the intersection of digital media, design, psychology, and technology, and aims to delve deeper and explore these interests through her thesis project this year.
Her research examines the multidisciplinary origins of creativity and personal computing, followed by identifying areas of overlap and introducing possible opportunities these findings hold for digital tools. She looks forward to drawing upon her background in expository writing, design, and storytelling to craft a compelling and highly visual research project. After graduation, Molly plans to pursue a career in digital product design, working to craft tools that empower us to create.
