Chelsea Zhang
Chelsea Zhang is a senior double majoring in Economics and Statistics. Her quantitative background and curiosity about people shaped her interest in the intersection of quantitative methods and social sciences. Her current research is on probabilistic record linkage. She works with Professor Christian Dippel from the Anderson School of Management to link historical samples of Native Americans from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s decennial population censuses by incorporating household structures. She hopes this innovative approach can effectively address ambiguous links to improve both quality and quantity of matches and open up new windows for further research.
