Lyric Tully
Lyric is a fifth year psychology major and gerontology minor at UCLA. She is a transfer student from San Diego Mesa College where she received her Associates of Arts in Psychology. Under the guidance of Dr. Annette Stanton, Lyric is conducting a senior thesis examining the effects of emotional disclosure and self-affirmation statements on social support among undergraduates experiencing chronic financial strain. Lyric is broadly interested in studying how empirically-based interventions combat the negative effects of chronic stressors. After graduating, she hopes to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology and continue to study chronic stressors.
