Leann Pham

Leann Pham is a fourth-year student studying Political Science and Asian American Studies. Through the past two courses in my Honors Thesis Series, I have sought to review UC Title IX policy and examine whether or not the policy serves the students that it proposes to do. I have undergone the process of submitting a critical narrative methodology based interview study for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students with IRB approval. This year, I am building upon my honors thesis work as well as the work I completed during the summer of 2018, as a UCLA Undergraduate Summer Research Fellow. This summer, I researched community based forms of sexual violence prevention and alternative forms of healing. From summer going into Winter 2019, I hope to develop a curriculum for a working group of students of color that can come to life the following quarter.
