Jessica Brouard is a senior at UCLA double-majoring in Global Studies and Political Science. Last year, she was an Undergraduate Research Scholar, studying the impact of neoliberalism on policing in Los Angeles. This year, she plans to continue working with the City of Los Angeles Community Investment for Families Department on implementing a comprehensive guaranteed basic income program. She plans to write her thesis on visualizing data from guaranteed income pilots around the country. After graduation, Jessica hopes to pursue a career in speechwriting.
