Lilah Rose Sniderman

Lilah Sniderman is a fourth year Art Major with a Minor in Geography and Environmental studies. They are originally from New Jersey and the Catskill mountains of upstate New York. Lilah works primarily in ceramics and video art, utilizing these mediums to investigate natural processes. Academically, Lilah is interested in geographic information systems, water and land management in California, and contemporary art history. They are conducting research on water drainage systems and regulations in Los Angeles county and plan to translate this information into a creative project. This project combines their two fields of study, Environmental Studies and Studio Art. Their research-based practice will develop and strengthen as they learn more about stormwater pollution through readings, interviews, and conversations.
