Joline Chew

Joline Chew is a second year transfer student studying Asian American Studies with a minor in Film, Television, Digital Media, and pursuing departmental honors. Her interests are cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and identity protection. Through the funding of the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program, she will conduct research to understand the extent of identity fraud on immigrants, elderly, and children, and begin development on a documentary that creates awareness of the problem, and preventative information for communities with special attention given to those targeted and prone to familiar fraud and synthetic identity fraud. After graduation, she hopes to pursue graduate studies in cybersecurity.
